Interior preparation.
When decorating interiors, your furniture and flooring will be covered and protected with dust sheets prior to work commencing and will be left tidy and presentable when we finish.
Interior Paintwork
How we paint interiors depends on the individual surfaces but in general, after preparation (sanding and filling etc), your ceilings and walls will be covered with a minimum of two coats of emulsion and all new woodwork and metal work will be primed with a specialist base coating and then undercoated and glossed as required.
Exterior Paintwork
For exterior paintwork, after preparation, we will paint your new or bare timber wooden surfaces with wood primer and then undercoat and gloss as required. Pebble dashing or smooth masonry will be treated with a stabilizing solution if required then given two coats of Pliolite or Weathersheild finish.
Wallpaper
Preparation is key to successful wallpaper hanging. Your wall will be filled and sanded down as required and if your walls are in a poor condition, a lining paper is recommended. We will then hang the paper of your choice from inexpensive to dearer types such as wide vinyl Muraspec. Whatever type of wallpaper you chose, it will be done to our normal high standards.
Coving
We fit finished coving mouldings between ceiling and walls in all shapes and sizes.
Ceiling roses
We can fit you a beautiful ceiling rose to give a decorative effect above your lighting.
Dado & Picture rails
We fit all types of decorative mouldings around any room to you requirements.
Specialist effects
We offer various specialised effects such as gold leaf, marbling and graining. These are surfaces which are imitated to look like gold , marble and wood.
Wall tiling
We will remove old tiles if required, then re-tile surfaces in consultation with customer on bathrooms, kitchens & utility rooms.
Free Estimates
Our free estimates are given in writing so that the customer understands exactly what they are paying for. There are no hidden extras!
